From the decision to the work itself.

Structure a financing, build or review a model, prepare a business plan. Scope and deliverables are agreed before work begins.

What we are engaged to do

S.01

Project finance advisory

Debt sizing, amortisation profiles, coverage ratios and covenant packages for infrastructure and energy assets.

Financial close support, lender Q&A, and the model that sits underneath both.

S.02

Financial modelling and model audit

Models built from scratch, inherited models rebuilt, and independent audits of models that are about to carry a decision.

Delivered with documentation and a working session, to the DECOMP standard.

S.03

Business planning and strategy

Business plans that reconcile to a cash flow statement and stay useful after the fundraise.

Scenario architecture, sensitivity design, and monthly tracking that tells you which case you are in.

Not sure which of the three you need? Describe the decision and we will tell you what the work looks like.

Inside a model

What the work looks like.

An assumption, a formula, a decision. This fictional extract shows how they connect and where we would focus a review.

Illustrative extract · Years 6–11 of a 15-year model. Fictional data calculated by this website’s model engine.
  1. 01

    Find the assumptions.

Prices, costs and the contract term make the starting point visible.

  2. 02

    Follow the calculations.

From revenue to available cash, and from cash to debt service.

  3. 03

    Understand the review.

Identifying the tight year and its cause helps decide what to examine next.

Engagement shapes

How the work is usually bought

Five common shapes. Scope is agreed in writing before anything starts, including where it ends.

Typical engagements
ShapeTypical triggerWhat you getRuns for
Second opinionA model exists and a decision depends on itWritten findings, ranked by materiality1–2 weeks
BuildA transaction needs a model that does not exist yetModel, documentation, working session3–8 weeks
AlongsideA live process with lender questions arriving weeklyA named modeller on the deal, with agreed response timesFixed monthly, renewed at each milestone
RebuildAn inherited model nobody trusts any moreA model to the DECOMP standard, plus a reconciliation to the old one2–5 weeks
Model auditLender or investor requires independent reviewAudit opinion, error log, tested formula coverage2–4 weeks

Fixed fee, agreed in writing, no variation without a written change. Durations assume reasonable access to data and one decision-maker who can settle assumptions. Both matter more than the size of the asset.

Next step

Let’s define the scope.

The decision ahead is the starting point for defining the work.
