Mastia Consulting is an advisory and financial modelling practice working with sponsors, developers and funds in infrastructure and energy. The person you speak to is the person who builds the model.
Continuity from scope to handover
Work is accepted when there is capacity to support it. The person defining the scope stays involved in the model and in responses to lenders. When additional capabilities are needed, we work with established collaborators.
The upside is that the person who scoped the work is the person in the model, and the person answering the lender's questions in week six. The trade-off is that we cannot take everything, and occasionally the honest answer to an enquiry is a recommendation to talk to someone else. You will know which within a few days of asking.
The work is grounded in project finance for infrastructure and energy, where the numbers have to withstand a bank's review and, in the same week, be explained to a board in twenty minutes. Work has been delivered for Mazars, Hyphen (NEOM), Cubico Renewables, Medefer and Altryx.
How we work together
Scope is agreed in writing before anything starts
Including where it ends. Most disputes in this work start as scope disputes.
The file stays with your team
Handover includes documentation and a working session with whoever runs the file after we leave. If you need us to open it every time an assumption changes, the engagement did not work.
We will tell you when you do not need us
Sometimes the answer to a modelling question is a twenty-minute conversation, and sometimes the right recommendation is a course at Decomp Academy rather than an invoice from us.
Client names on this site are the ones already public through prior engagements. Nothing about a live transaction appears anywhere, in any form, including as an anonymised example. Every figure used illustratively across this site is invented for the purpose.
